End 68 Hours of Hunger Pack & Deliver

Childhood food insecurity is a national problem, it occurs when children receive insufficient food on a regular basis; in many cases missing meals entirely. This program puts nourishing food in the hands of school children to carry them through the weekend. Each bag of food provides two breakfasts, two lunches, and three dinners for a child.

The GFWC-DAWC meets on the third Thursday of the month during the school year (some dates change depending on the school calendar). We meet at St. John's United Methodist Church on Cataract Ave. Packing begins at 8:30 and depending on how much help is available we deliver to the schools until about 10am.
